Two new electric motorcycle prototypes will be rolled out by Polaris at the upcoming Isle of Man TT Zero race. Polaris recently acquired the electronic motorcycle business of Brammo Inc., and is rumored to be showcasing these new Victory bikes, piloted by William Dunlop.
The new Victory electric motorcycle’s battery will have a 20% greater capacity with up to 150 horsepower. Other features, such as internal packaging of the battery cell, as well as well as an enhanced electronic control system have been revised to provide more efficiency. The bike will be fully put to the test on TT’s 37 mile course while running at full throttle.
By integrating Brammo as the electric drivetrain developer into the Victory bike, it is a fair assumption that Polaris is in direct competition with Harley Davidson who produces the Livewire electric motorcycle.
Victory motorcycles will provide continuous news feeds with updates and photos from the Isle of Man TT. Further information can be found on their website at www.VictoryMotorcycles.com.
