BMW K100 Scrambler by De Angelis Elaborazioni

BMW K100 Scrambler

Giorgio De Angelis, the man behind De Angelis Elaborazioni of Rome, has been turning out a staggering collection of Bavarian specials. His BMW K1100 cafe racer was one of our most popular bikes of 2016, while his R80GS scrambler showed a different side to his aesthetic, taking cues from the Paris-Dakar adventure bikes.

Now Giorgio is back with another off-road-ready build.  This time it’s a 1984 BMW K100 scrambler. The K100 was affectionately known as the “Flying Brick” — the four-cylinder ever produced by BMW Motorrad. The liquid-cooled inline four produced 90 horsepower, with fuel injection and shaft drive.

BMW K100 Scrambler

This is my creation — BMW K100 yars 1984 in Scrambler Version — name: SpecialEdition.
It’s a bike created to go really on dirt. Has modified suspension, rear Ohlins and front forks and Ohlins modified with kit.

The tank has been completely brushed and polished. The bike sits on enduro tires. It fun to drive, and even if it is heavy, it keeps up well with the others.

    I love this bike.
    This builder is a Genius
I had a K75 and wish I had done this. It was x-Police and had a very low gear diff. It would have been perfect for this!
