Eleven10 Moto Garage presents the Front Row Moto Show!
With life starting to return to a new normal in ’21, we’re thrilled at the return of some of our favorite motorcycle shows such as The One Moto Show, The Handbuilt Show, and more. Inspired by those shows and more, our friends at Phoenix’s Eleven10 Moto Garage are hosting the inaugural Front Row Moto Show at the end of this month!
“We figured it was our turn to host something and invite all of our friends from the various shows we have been to, so now is our chance to be the hosts and try to be as hospitable as possible!”
The show is scheduled for Sunday, May 30th, Memorial Day weekend, from 11am to 7pm at 1110 Grand Ave, Phoenix AZ. There will be a pre-party, a showcase, a show-and-shine, and an after-party — full details below.
“We’ve got people coming from Illinois, Utah, California, Nevada, Texas, and probably many other locations to join us for the festivities! There are going to be some amazing bikes here, some of which will be debuting for the first time in public!”
Below, we get the full story from our buddy Chris Elliot of AspiRe Cycle, builder of the “Womp Rat” KZ400 desert sled we previously featured, and more stunning photos from the likes of Brian Hanson, Joy Goddard, and Joshua Rezende.
• Eleven10 Moto Garage is a collective workspace just outside downtown Phoenix. Can you tell us a little about the history, the space, and who all is involved?
Absolutely! Me and a few friends within my riding group, Blacklist Moto, had been searching for a shared shop space. We wanted to have a centrally located collective workshop that we could also use as a hub for events and rides. I have had my own shop space before, and so have the other members, but we were really looking forward to sharing space and thriving off each other’s creativity and motivation. We ended up finding this amazing space right in the middle of the Grand Ave Arts District in Downtown Phoenix.
Apparently, this building was the first Safeway grocery store in Arizona! The initial members were Tim Muenstermann (@motomuntz, also previously a member of Chicago’s Federal Moto), Marc Bergeon (@rubberandiron), John Ruby (@motovatedcb), Aaron Wright (@sabol74), Eric Leslie (@gumby_tr6) and myself, Chris Elliott (@aspirecycle). Over the past year and a half, we have added a few more members, Connemara McDonough (@connemarax), Chad Brady (@wolfdogsong), Brian Armea (@speedvisionmedia) and Phil Ennis (@philarazzzi). We are a powerhouse of builders, collectors, artists, and real “Front Row” citizens! This shop space has been really helpful in fueling our passions and giving us a space to spend time doing what we love.
• We hear y’all are hosting your first motorcycle show at the end of May, Front Row Moto Show. How did the idea come about and what are the details?
We have always wanted to start our own event here in Phoenix. We are heavily inspired by shows like The One Show, Handbuilt Show, Nowhere Show, OG Moto Show, and of course the Venice Vintage Motorcycle Rally hosted by our friends in the Venice Vintage Motorcycle Club in Los Angeles. Because of the fact that we are retro, classic, vintage, and custom motorcycle enthusiasts, these shows and the bikes on display really spoke to us. The opportunity arose this year when our local Law Tigers division reached out and told me they’d be interested in sponsoring something if we would like to start it up. I couldn’t say no to that, so we started planning!
The Front Row Moto Show name was inspired by a few different things. We love visiting all of these other spectacular motorcycle shows and being in the “Front Row” in relation to these magnificent bikes. Being up close and personal to them, seeing every detail right in front of your face, being able to talk to the builders and pick their brains about their process. The other thing, of course, is being “Front Row” at the races!
Here in AZ we have regular flat track races, and we love attending and being right up front, hearing the roar of the engines, smelling the exhaust and dirt, and feeling the excitement of the race! We figured it was our turn to host something and invite all of our friends from the various shows we have been to, so now is our chance to be the hosts and try to be as hospitable as possible!
The show is scheduled for Sunday May 30th, Memorial Day weekend, at 11:10AM. We are also having a pre-party on Saturday the 29th at the rooftop pool of the historic Hotel San Carlos, our host hotel in Downtown Phoenix. With most of the motorcycle scene in Arizona being geared toward cruisers and sport bikes, we are really looking forward to starting something a little different for people to enjoy and become a part of, right here in the Downtown Phoenix area. Oh, and did I mention that its FREE ADMISSION?!
• How many bikes are you expecting? Is it invite-only or is there a submission process?
This is a showcase AND show and shine event. We will hand-pick 15-20 exemplary bikes to be displayed inside our shop, and we are expecting many more to arrive on the day of the show. We have only hosted smaller events in the past, with attendance ranging from 20-60 bikes, but we are hoping to see many more for this event and get them lined up on either side of Grand Avenue in front of our shop.
We are encouraging people who are interested in displaying bikes inside the shop to contact us beforehand so we can make decisions well in advance. Otherwise, this is a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike) event, and we would love to treat it as a rally of sorts. We’ve got people coming from Illinois, Utah, California, Nevada, Texas, and probably many other locations to join us for the festivities! There are going to be some amazing bikes here, some of which will be debuting for the first time in public!
• Will there be any related events, like a group ride, races, exhibitions, best in show awards, etc.?
There will be our pre-party the night before the show, as well as an after-party to be determined! The awards for the show will be Eleven10 Favorite, People’s Choice, and Best in Show. The Law Tigers would like to award the people’s choice winner with a trip and admission for them and their bike to the 444 Motorcycle Show in El Paso, TX. This will include a fuel allowance and two-night stay at a hotel near the show.
The other prizes we have lined up are custom built trophies and $400 gift certificates from Bell Powersports! We have also invited some nearby restaurants, bars, breweries, and shops to participate by offering discounts and donating raffle items for attendees. There may also be some live music set up at these locations. We have had several great sponsors contribute items to our charity raffle, including Bell Powersports, Twisted Road Motorcycle Rentals, TEAM Arizona Motorcycle Training, Fuel Motorcycles, Phoenix Triumph Motorcycles, and more, all of which can be seen on our Instagram and Facebook pages!
We will have a schedule set for the day of the show, but we encourage people to get out and explore Phoenix on their own or with friends while they’re in town!
• How can readers follow the shop and stay up to date on show news?
I’d recommend following us on Facebook/Instagram and RSVPing to our events for the show and pre-party. We post updates and content regularly!

If you do plan on coming out, don’t forget to RSVP for the show on our Facebook events pages! As our host hotel, they are offering discounted rates on rooms for people who will be in town for the show. All you have to do is call them and mention you’re coming out for the Front Row Moto Show to get the discounted rates! The pre-party will be at this hotel, so not a far walk to bed if you decide to party with us. It’s also just a few minutes ride from the shop! Ask about the haunted (spooky!) rooms or the Marilyn Monroe Suite!
