Based on Unit Garage’s Marrakesh styling, this 14 month restore/ modification based on a 1987 K75 was done with meticulous care and attention to detail. Foto’s are available of the complete build.
This bike rides beautifully and performs really well after shedding significant weight in the build process. All black accents (frame, forks, engine cover, wheels) are powder coated. Other elements of note:
Replaced all seals, O rings, bushings, wheel bearings, air and water hoses..
Replaced fuel injectors, spark plugs and leads.
Replaced rear brake rotor and pads both wheels; rebuilt calipers.
Replaced front and rear shocks with Ohlins supplied by Unit Garage.
Refreshed clutch and rear drive shaft and final drive.
Installed digital instrumentation and enhanced lighting/ turn signals.
Bike currently resides in Pleasanton CA.
