Silver Wolf: Husky 501 Street Tracker by AMS Garage

Husqvarna 501 Tracker

The Husqvarna FE 501 enduro is a 45-hp, 239-lb trail weapon featuring fuel injection, electric start, and a counterbalanced four-stroke engine. Meanwhile, the bike’s street-legal sibling, the FE 501s, is only ten pounds heavier, capable of tearing through urban gridlock, eating up stairs, and blasting down trails on the weekend.

Enter Ajus, the owner of Bali’s AMS Garage, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in business this year:

“Custom Motorcycle Garage conveniently located in Sanur, Bali – Fabrication, Customization, Engine Rebuilding, Blasting, Painting and Air Brushing!”

For this build, the customer wanted to transform his Husky 501 into a flat tracker. The most striking aspect of the build is the aluminum bodywork, including the single piece that stretches from tank to tail. It’s formed out of raw 3mm aluminum finished with silver leaf. Aptly enough, they named this Husky tracker “Silver Wolf.”

Below, we get the full story on the build.

  1. The builder isn’t a talkative fellow is he? He builds a mean bike, though. I’m not sure about the spokes being covered.

  2. Nicely done!
