Handbuilt Show 2025: Choppers, Bobbers, & Wild Things

Chops, Bobs, Baggers, Cruisers, and Wild Things: Handbuilt Show 2025…

The 2025 Handbuilt Motorcycle Show was another one for the books. Founded by Alan Stulberg and the team at Austin’s Revival Cycles, the Handbuilt Show showcases the work of custom-builders and craftspeople from all across the nation and world.

“The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show was originally conceived as an excuse to get together with creative builders of all kinds from all over the world who inspired team Revival. What it developed into over the years is an artistic display driven by a passion for design well beyond motorcycles that far exceeds our wildest expectations.” – Alan Stulberg, Revival Cycles / Handbuilt Show

The three-day event showcased nearly 150 custom and/or interesting bikes, as well as some very neat cars, hot rods, art, and the work of welders, leather makers, engine gurus, and metal-shapers — all in a 100,000 square-foot show space at the Austin-American Statesman building. Besides the bikes and cars themselves, the show featured a Wall Of Death, stunt riders, interactive art exhibitions, and much more.

Of course, our favorite part is seeing what wild, weird, and wonderful machines turn up at the show. Many builders use the show as a deadline for their projects, so many of the machines you see here are breaking cover for the first time.

We have photos coming from our man on the ground, Kody Melton. In the interim, however, we thought we’d share some of our favorite choppers, bobbers, cruisers, baggers, and uncategorizable “wild things” from the official Builders’ Gallery, which features all 130+ invited builds. Stay tuned for more in-depth shots of many of these machines.
