I bought my 2017 Yamaha R3 ABS model new from Pete’s Cycle Co in Baltimore on March 17, 2018. It’s named Little Wing to recall the spirit of the Jimmy Hendrix song. The original body color was black. It was modified with a fiberglass GG Retro Fitz body kit in March of 2020 and custom painted. The body kit does not include a front fender or side panel covers. An appropriate shorty aluminum fender was purchased through ebay and finished to match the paint scheme. The side covers were made from scratch out of aluminum sheet patterned after the original R3 panels. It has 10,168 miles. It has had oil changes every 2,500 miles and received a full tune and service on May 13, 2022 at New York Powersports. Service included oil, spark plugs, brake fluid flush, and new OEM brake pads. The bike has never been crashed or abused. All the miles were for pleasure on trips locally and in the Northeast. Per New York Powersports the Michelin tires are good for at least this season and did not need to be changed. The original owner manual, an R3 Service manual, and receipts for parts and service are included in the sale.
