Though supermotard bikes are typically based on single-cylinder motocross bikes with lowered suspension and 17-inch wheels, we’ve seen an increasing number of BMW flat-twin boxer supermoto bikes from custom builders around the world — possibly influenced by Ducati’s twin-powered liter-sized Hypermotard 1100.
