We’ve been happy to witness restomod builds gain traction in recent years. Generally, restomods are vintage bikes that remain relatively true to their original aesthetics and silhouette, but have been brought into the 21st century with upgraded suspension, brakes, wheels, tires, and engine management / performance.
We used to this kind of customization mainly applied to vintage superbikes, such as the builds of AC Sanctuary and dB Customs, but builders have been giving the same treatment to vintage dirt bikes, dual sports, and roadsters in recent years. We’ve also included retromods in this list — modern bikes made to look vintage.

I have to say after being a follower for several years, there were some amazing bikes and a lot of not so much.
The Top 10 Two Strokes of 2023 were awesome!
A couple of the Top 10 Custom Motorcycles of 2023 were good but there are so many that are nothing but a bunch of “bolt-on” some stuff bikes.
Some of The Top 10 Café Racers of 2023 were not what I would call the best.
Some of Top 10 Scramblers and Dirt Bikes of 2023 could have been Trackers…
That hold s true for some of the custom cycles that could have been Trackers or Cafe style.

Keep in mind that these are objective, data-driven lists based on what was most popular among readers based on traffic, social engagement, etc.
Like the looks of the Honda CB900F restomod. Always liked the original, kind of wished I had waited 1-2 yrs instead of getting the 1980 CB750F. Definitely needs to work on the frame to complement the upgraded suspension. If they could get weight down to about 450 lbs, we’d be talking UJM hooliganism.
