This year marked the 5th annual Heritage Sprint at Betteshanger Park in Kent. The event combines 1/8-mile drag racing, custom and vintage motorcycle exhibitions, bike demos, specialist stands, live music, and open paddock, and much more. The founders began hosting a monthly “Ride to the Park” in 2020 — a Sunday ride that regularly attracts 200-250 bikes.
“Aimed at those riders looking for a ride-out destination where they can be sure of a warm welcome, good coffee and a chance to look at some interesting machines. Our most popular meet-up attracted over 300 bikes!“
At some point, the idea for an 1/8-mile sprint even was born. For 2026, there were more than 150 racers signed up for the sprint and 300+ bikes on display. including classic and modern race bikes, drag bikes, vintage classics, modern customs, and more.
Our photographer Roberto Garagarza (@roga______) brought home nearly 900 images from the event. Last week, we featured our first round of coverage, which included our favorite drag bikes, on-track action, and moments in the paddock.
Now we’re back with a second gallery from the event. This time, the static display bikes are at the forefront, along with this year’s “Moped Challenge” and candid shots of the racers, riders, and spectators.

Moped Challenge!
A lighthearted charity race to raise funds for Whizz-Kidz, a charity providing specialized equipment and mobility solutions for disabled children. Spectators watched an eclectic mix of vintage step-through mopeds and custom builds hit the track, bringing plenty of humor and excitement to Betteshanger Park!
