1935 DKW SS250

Description

1935 DKW SS250

This factory competition model was built for road racing, endurance, and hill climbs, featuring a water-cooled, twin-piston, supercharged two-stroke engine. The German factory was bombed during WWII, and this quite possibly the only example in existence. Interestingly, the Barber Museum reports that it has one of the loudest exhausts of any motorcycle.
