The Dutch custom motorcycle scene is one of the most active and innovative in the world. The crew at Moto Adonis is at the heart of the culture, turning out some of the classiest cafe racers and customs today. Now they are back with a 1979 BMW R100RS that simply oozes class, built for the owner of a local skatepark in Breda, PIER 15. Moto Adonis is actually hosting the Heyday Motorcycle Fair at this skatepark on July 16, the biggest custom show in Holland, which will feature builders from all over Europe.

Custom BMW R100RS: In the Builder’s Words
We have finished a new BMW, and this time it’s a BMW R100RS from 1979.
As you can see we have taken the bike apart and made a new rearframe, which contains two hoops, but one has been cut in half to support the seat.
The seat is an alcantara leather seat with a double-stitched diamond pattern on it.
The rear fender is an aluminium fender with a licence plate bracket which use to hold the speedo and tacho meter up in the air, and of course a nice Bates-style rear light to finish it up.
The front fender was shortened and got a nice new paint job, the gastank was striped down to bare metal and partly left it this way. The grey isn’t paint! The blue line is the BMW color and because it’s stripped on the bare metal, it really pop’s out like 3D! With a new speedo and new indicator light this front looked as new.
Al the engine covers and frame where repainted in original BMW black to smooth things out, so are the wheels.
After the bike was fitted with new mufflers (hooligan style) and new BT45’s this bike was delivered to it’s new owner in a local skatepark in Breda!
In this skatepark, we are organising the biggest custom motorcycle fair in Holland. Heyday Motorcycle Fair will kick off on 16th July at 10 am!
