Royal Enfield 650 Custom Parts from Le Motographe…
The Royal Enfield 650 twins have been hits since their inception in 2018, becoming best-sellers in markets like the UK. The Interceptor 650 (aka INT 650 here in the States) is the retro naked version, while the Continental 650 GT is the café-inspired version. Both utilize the company’s new air-cooled 650 parallel-twin engine, and the frames were developed in collaboration with legendary UK chassis-builder Harris Performance.
Our friends at MCN, who aren’t afraid to tell it like it is, were well impressed with the 650’s build quality, style, handling, and value for the money:
“Forget everything you know about old Royal Enfields because the new Interceptor 650 is in a different league. It still oozes old-school Enfield simplicity, but it’s well-built, classily finished and packed with well thought-out detail touches. It’s light, easy to ride, fun and handles incredibly well.” –MCN
Like the BMW R NineT, the Royal Enfield 650 twins were developed as canvases for customization. Royal Enfield continues to provide donors to some of the world’s best custom builders via their Custom World program, and a number of builders and fabricators are building out lines of custom parts so owners can personalize their bikes at home.
One of the best in the business is France’s Le Motographe. Founder Jerome grew up riding and racing enduro bikes, and he won our hearts with several popular builds such as the WR450F “Skeleton” and WR450F “Rally Beast” before turning attention to the R NineT and Royal Enfield 650 platforms.
Le Motographe has just released a line of machined aluminum and molded plastic parts for the Royal Enfield Interceptor and Continental GT, produced to the very highest standards for which the workshop known. Below, Jerome give us a few of the details, though the photos from Damien Lorrai tell the story best.
Royal Enfield 650 Moto Kits: In the Builder’s Words…
We spent some weeks designing new products to complete our product line for Royal Enfield 650, and guess what? They’re ready! Exclusive components ready to bolt on the stock bike to make your Royal Enfield 650 iconic.
These parts are done to complete our lines of aluminium machined products for the Royal Enfield 650 Interceptor and Continental GT. They’re designed to fit the stock machine with ease, while giving the bike an all-new design.
The fairings are raw molded parts with a perfectly smooth finish and ready to be painted, while the premium aluminium machined parts are available in two versions, silver or black anodized.
We have different versions of front fender (one high for scramblers and one low for racers), different versions of side panels, a headlight fairing, a custom rear cowl for a solo seat on the Continental GT, and also a rear mudguard inspired by vintage enduro bikes.
As usual, our designs are unique and are designed to allow riders to customize their bikes easily with premium components. Everything is available to order on our online shop: www.atelierdumotographe.com.
