Drew Perlmutter covers Forged by Fuller…
Forged by Fuller is a brand new exhibition dedicated to the work of our friend Bryan Fuller, one of the most influential and celebrated custom builders of his time. The 65,000 square-foot Savoy Automobile Museum in Carterville, Georgia — located on a 75-acre campus between Atlanta and Chattanooga — is playing host to the exhibition from August 1 to December 3, 2023.
It includes the largest presentation of Fuller’s work in 20 years, including some of his most ambitious builds, such as the 22-foot “Thundertaker” Cadillac Limo and the 3D-printed “2029” Motorcycle.

Last weekend, we sent Atlanta-based photographer Drew Perlmutter (@drewperlmutter) to cover the Opening Night Gala, which included celebrity “blasts from Bryan’s past” such as the original Overhaulin’ cast of Chip Foose, Courtney Hansen, and Chris Jacobs. Other special guests included Ian Johnson, host of Four Wheeler, along with Bogi Lateiner and Faye Hadley of All Girls Garage.
While Fuller is just as well-known for his four-wheeled creations, we asked Drew to focus on Fuller’s custom motorcycle builds. The Savoy Automobile Museum is located in Cartersville, Georgia. From I-75, take exit #290 (Georgia Highway 20) and head west approximately 2.5 miles. Take a right onto Highway 411. Savoy Museum is located immediately on the right.
