The Handbuilt Show always attracts some of the best and most interesting builds from around the country, and 2025 was no exception. As in previous years, our photographer Kody Melton was on hand to capture as many of the bike as possible, bringing the show right to your screen.
With nearly 500 photos of the 130+ bikes on display, we decided to divvy up the machines into three features: cafe and road racers, scramblers and trackers, and last but not least: choppers, bobbers, baggers, cruisers, and “wild things.” We’ve included a few comments about each bike from the builders themselves, where available.

Stella’s Mettle: Snap Fab
A 1946 Chief with a 1948 engine. Rolling on 18’s when I got it. The bike looked light and airy comps to typical Chiefs. He named the bike after his tough wife and sought solace and peace riding to airports around the country.
Dirty Nickel: Aero Precision Metal Works
Handmade frame with art twist main support. The whole frame is black nickel plated. Horizontal girder front end. Bike is riding on 26s front and rear. Has beautiful satin paint with pin striping and leaf work.
The Grackle: John Mark Luke
I ordered a bunch of parts that just happened to be delivered as an inexpensive enduro motorcycle called a “Hawk”. Since then I have cut up and deleted everything that I found ugly on the Hawk and rebuilt the bike to “my kind of ugly” now called, “The Grackle”.
