Here at BikeBound, we love choppers and bobbers for their style, history, attitude, and the incredible fabrication and craftsmanship they so often display. The latter was certainly the case at this year’s Handbuilt Motorcycle Show, where some of the custom fab-work was simply mind-melting.
The team behind the show, Revival Cycles, hopes the showcasing of these hand-built machines will inspire the next generation to embrace the trades and the beauty that grows out of them.
“As our collective existence slips further into digital abstraction, we at the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show believe something has been lost and it is time to revive the culture of physical craftsmanship. Although in today’s modern mass-produced world few young people are taught how to do physical work or are encouraged to embrace a trade, there remains a universal attraction to the beauty that can only be formed by human hands.” -Revival Cycles
This year, we enlisted racer and photographer Kody Melton once again to capture the rolling art on display…and his eye for lines and details is as keen as ever. Below you’ll find our full gallery of choppers, bobbers, baggers, and more. What are your top picks? Let us know in the comments!
