The London Motorcycle Film and Photography Festival — better known as LOMO — explores the intersection of motorcycles, film, photography, and the custom world. The two-celebration takes place at the Old Timber Store at Maltby Street Market, bringing together filmmakers, photographers, riders, builders, and enthusiasts from across the world for live screenings, photography exhibitions, fellowship, and more.
The spotlight here is on independent cinema at its finest:
“Instead of polished, high-budget commercial clips, our program features deeply personal grassroots pieces and cinematic short films, including independent selections proudly shortlisted by VAHNA for their exceptional visual storytelling and tone.“
LOMO 2025 was a sold-out success, so the 2026 edition (August 28-29) boasted an expanded program that included a dedicated photography exhibition, live Q&A sessions, and additional screenings in response to audience demand. The rustic timber venue walls featured curated prints from independent motorcycle and adventure photographers.
“These spaces capture the raw, real texture of our everyday riding environments — from industrial city hideouts to cross-border overland expeditions, proving that the best stories are often told in a single, unposed frame.”
Instead of picking and choosing what films to see, there were three main screenings that lasted 2-3 hours, showing a selection of films along with filmmaker Q&A sessions, special guests, and intermissions. These took place on Friday night, Saturday afternoon, and Saturday.
However, there’s more to this festival than what you see on screen.
“LOMO has always been more than just sitting in a dark room watching a screen. It’s a dedicated community hub to roll up on your own machine, catch up with old faces, swap road stories, and share cold drinks and nice food under the brickwork before the autumn riding season kicks into gear.”
Our man Roberto Garagarza (@roga______/) was in attendance, bringing a selection of photos from the two-day festival. Without further ado, we present this featured gallery from LOMO 2026.
