Well-known for their bicycles, American manufacturer Cannondale ventured into the motocross market in the early 2000s, using high-grade components and developing their own state-of-the-art four-stroke powerplant. Unfortunately, glitches in the sophisticated fuel injection system and poor sales helped lead to an early demise for these 432cc, 244-lb machines.
