The 12th annual Malle Mile Festival took place from July 17-19, 2026, at Grimsthorpe Castle in the UK. Over 5000 riders and spectators gathered for the weekend, which included 1/8-mile sprints, off-road scrambles, road rallies, custom bike exhibitions, youth enduro events, live music, camping, after parties, and more.

“Whether you’re a lifelong rider, a curious motorcycle newcomer, or simply love motorcycle adventures, motorcycle racing and want to ride. The Malle Mile Festival is the most unique, interactive and engaging motorcycle celebration in the country, with bespoke experiences for every guest and motorcycle type.”
The run of events was staggering. Here’s a quick breakdown of the program:
- The Mile Metropolis: Aka base camp, the heart of the festival with makers, motorcycles, artists, food trucks, bars, and more.
- The Mile Races: After getting lost at the Metropolis, spectators can head back to the race track and cheer on the wildest riders in the land.
- The Main Stage: World class bands and DJ’s played their hearts out on The Mile Main Stage throughout the festival weekend.
- The Malle Camp: Riders can bring their own tents, sleep in their camper vans, or upgrade to one of The Mile Luxury bell tents.
- Adventure Trails (NEW): Riders could enter their adventure or enduro motorcycles to ride 20+ km of stunning off-road trails across the castle estate.
- The Mini Mile: Safe and fun rider training for Mini-Milers, ages 5-10 years. With a scaled down version of every Malle Mile race track for them to learn on and enjoy.
- The Makers Market: A dedicated market for independent makers, artisans, motorcycle builders, and creatives to showcase and sell their wares.
- The 4X4 Safari Scramble (NEW): Drivers could enter their 4×4 into an exclusive 10km off-road experience across the beautiful grounds of the estate.
- The Malle Scrambles: A “non-competitive” off-road scramble across the castle grounds…with 500 motorcycles.
- Motopolo Championship: Teams compete in this wild and fun head-to-head MotoPolo championship. Participants could form a team and join the training session.
- The Art of the Machine Exhibition: The crème de la crème of custom built motorcycles and cars, from around the world, curated to inspire riders and spectators.
- The Dash Speed Trial: An 1/8th-mile timed speed trial.
- Exhibitions: Feast your eyes on the most beautiful and rare machines from the best collectors, builders, racers, adventurers and brands in the world.
- The Mile Road Rally (NEW): An on-road rally experience on Saturday and Sunday morning, departing across the grounds of the estate. For on-road and adventure motorcycles only.
- The Mile After Party: Participants could celebrate each night and dance until the wee hours with fantastic live DJ’s.
- Wellness Area: Riders could enjoy a massage, join for morning yoga, or swim in the lake — the perfect way to start each day of the festival.
Such a program might seem overwhelming, but the two-wheeled, head-over-heels atmosphere is part of the fun. The Malle Mile has grown into a motorcycle extravaganza quite unlike anything else on the planet.
Our UK photographer Roberto Garagarza (@roga______) was on the ground throughout the whole weekend, and he came back with more than 1200 shots from the Festival. Obviously, that’s far too many for a single feature, so we’re breaking down The Mile into more consumable segments. Today, we have Round I of the 2026 Malle Mile, including the grounds, the REV’IT pilgrimmage, and the 1/8-Mile Dash speed trial. Stay tuned for the off-road action!
