In Dust We Trust: “Triumph Legend” T100

Triumph T100 ScramblerFCR Original x BRETT: A Triumph Legend That Embodies British Spirit…

The Triumph T100 is the linchpin of the Bonneville series, with a liquid-cooled 900cc parallel twin producing 64 horsepower and 59 pound-feet of torque. That’s just 12 fewer ponies than the larger T120, and the T100 is 17 pounds lighter. Like all the Bonnevilles, the T100 may look like a classic, but it’s evolved continually over the years.

“It was updated in 2021 (and brought to the US as a 2022 model) with higher-spec suspension and braking components, and a lighter, more powerful engine that, compared to its predecessor, has a lighter crankshaft, clutch, and balancer shafts, as well as magnesium cam covers and revised ports and cam profiles.” –Cycle World

For many riders, the lighter, nimbler, more affordable T100 Bonnie is the preferred machine, especially for those who value riding pleasure over dyno sheets.

“The Triumph Bonneville T100 has all the relaxed nature of the larger T120, but in a smaller, lighter and arguably more fun and engaging package.” –MCN

Triumph T100 ScramblerThe Bonneville has long been a candidate for scrambler and desert sled builds, all the way back to the pre-unit days of the early 60s and earlier. Before the rise of purpose-built dirt bikes, British singles and twins were stripped down and built up into rugged off-roaders.

Today, builders continue to build Bonnies that resemble the scramblers and desert sleds of old. This one comes from our friends at FCR Original, who partnered with eyewear company BRETT, who

Triumph Legend: In the Builder’s Words…

Triumph T100 ScramblerAt FCR Original, every motorcycle tells a story. This one begins in Margate, England, under the raw light of a seaside town that has preserved its retro charm and refined taste. It’s here that we shot our second creation for BRETT, a brand with whom we share more than just a partnership: a common vision for aesthetics, an obsession with detail, and the drive to do things differently.

Triumph T100 ScramblerThis Triumph Legend, built on a 2025 Triumph T100 base, is the result of a creative exchange between the FCR Original and BRETT teams. The objective: to craft a motorcycle that is spectacular, elegant, and fully aligned with the brand’s visual identity—designed to become a centerpiece in their stores, campaigns, or events. Envisioned as a living communication tool, the bike merges style and performance, vintage soul and modern precision.

This second custom build for BRETT marks the beginning of a series of unique creations, designed as iconic objects that sit between design, performance, and brand expression. These motorcycles are made not only to enhance in-store visuals, but also to bring the BRETT brand to life during photo shoots, events, and special collections. More than just showpieces, they are rolling ambassadors of a strong, expressive aesthetic.

The shoot was done on location in Margate, a place we hold dear for its raw, coastal, British vibe.
A setting that let us capture the unique light, the blend of elegance and nonchalance, and present a motorcycle that—without a doubt—already belongs in the BRETT universe.
