Vintage Flat & Street Trackers

Flat tracker and street tracker motorcycles draw inspiration from American dirt-track racing, emphasizing simplicity, control, and sideways speed. A flat tracker is purpose-built for oval dirt tracks, typically featuring a lightweight frame, long wheelbase, 19-inch wheels, minimal brakes, and a torquey engine tuned for smooth, controllable power. A street tracker adapts that racing aesthetic and attitude for public roads, blending upright ergonomics, wide handlebars, minimalist bodywork, and road-legal components while retaining the visual cues and spirit of flat-track competition.

Generally, we regard bikes built prior to 1980 as vintage, though there is some wiggle room there. Here we have a selection of our favorite vintage cafe racer builds.
